Amazon Chargebacks: Rejected PO Rate

Given the increase in online shopping traffic, look for short term Amazon inventory forecasts to be closer to the 80th and 90th percentile (in ARAP) rather than the mean for your forecasts.

During this time, upon receipt of your POs, we advise that you fill what you can and reject what you cannot - you will not receive a Rejected PO Rate chargeback for this rejection if you are in the consumable category.

Please see Amazon's guidance on this matter:

Rejected PO Rate Chargeback Waiver

Effective Feb 6, 2020 until May 31, 2020, we are pausing the Rejected PO Rate chargeback on all consumables products (Baby, Beauty, Luxury Beauty, Grocery and Health and Personal Care).

All purchase orders sent by Amazon during this time are excluded from the Rejected PO Rate chargeback.

The chargeback will remain visible on the Operational Performance dashboard, however it will show as Waived, and no fee will be charged.

From June 1, 2020, the Rejected PO Rate chargeback will resume as normal for all new purchase orders.

For more information about this chargeback, go to Support and review the Help topic: About Rejected PO Rate.
