Amazon Relaunching the Pickup Accuracy Chargeback for Full Truckload Shipments

Amazon has relaunched their Pickup Accuracy chargeback for Collect Shipments involving full truckload (TL) volumes. While Amazon has already relaunched this chargeback, vendors will not incur any actual fees until later this year (confirmed date has yet to be shared). All vendors are encouraged to closely monitor their Operational Performance Dashboard for this new chargeback.

In order to avoid this chargeback, always ensure your freight is ready by the indicated driver arrival time. However, if your freight is ready but there is a carrier caused delay or missed pick up, be sure to submit a case to Amazon straight away to avoid any pick up related chargebacks that are out of your control. Let your Global Overview team know if you need any support in submitting a case to Amazon.

Per Amazon:

How will this chargeback work?

If you are a Collect vendor, you will receive the confirmed pickup date and time of your TL shipments from Amazon. You will have until 5:00 p.m. PST on the day prior to the scheduled pickup time to reschedule the pickup, if you cannot accommodate the time given. If you reschedule after 5:00 p.m. PST on the day prior to the scheduled pickup, you will incur this chargeback. If you do not reschedule, the carrier arrives on time, and your freight is not ready or you are unable to load the carrier in the expected timeframe, you will incur this chargeback. Follow the instructions in the Routing Request emails from Amazon to request a reschedule.
