Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs) Open in October and November 2020
Amazon has begun operating a number of new fulfillment centers in October and November of 2020. It is recommended to keep this updated information handy for reference, and any internal address systems should be updated if Vendors maintain them.
For EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Vendors, you will receive a SAN code or FC code that depends on your EDI configuration. EDI 850 Vendors are advised to add these locations to any systems as soon as possible to begin processing orders at these facilities.
To find a full and up-to-date list of Amazon North American FCs as well as EDI SAN codes, visit the ‘Technical’ section of the ‘Resource Center’ in Vendor Central and download the Amazon North America Fulfillment Center Address List.
To avoid any delayed payments, ensure that your invoicing system does not bill for sales tax on your US invoices. If not, any tax lines will cause your invoice to be rejected.
Apart from updating your internal address systems, please be sure to update your company’s Vendor Purchase Order (PO) Outages in Vendor Central. These are crucial for time periods when your office is closed and you are unable to process Amazon purchase orders. You can visit the Vendor Central Settings Tab and go to ‘Purchase Order Outage’ > ‘Add days’ button and check the appropriate vendor codes, enter the outage dates, and submit.
