Policy Change for Missed Prepaid FBA Shipping Appointments

As of August 25, 2020, Fulfillment by Amazon has an updated policy in regard to missed prepaid shipping appointments by carriers.

Failure to meet previously scheduled appointments may result in a suspension of FBA shipping privileges.

Missed delivery appointments at Amazon FCs result in increased processing time for all FBA shipments. Amazon requests that you notify them 24 hours in advance if your carrier is unable to make an appointment.

The Carrier Requirements for LTL and FTL Deliveries page is a helpful resource. Located in the ‘Help’ section of Seller Central, it includes information about scheduling shipping appointments, carrier requirements, and the steps to cancel your appointment when needed.

This policy is especially important as we head into Amazon’s peak quarter. Due to COVID-19, the network is already under strain ahead of Prime Day. GO highly recommends that you ensure you are working with your carriers actively to meet Amazon requirements for shipping appointments.

Work with your GO team to ensure this updated policy is being met and that Prime Day shipments run as smoothly as possible!
