Q2 2020 Updates to the Amazon Shipping Manual

As of Friday, May 1st, Amazon's original North American (NA) Vendor Preparation and Transportation Manual has been split into two separate documents. These two documents are located in Vendor Central under Support > Resource Center > NA Vendor Shipment Guidelines.

The specific changes are as follows:

• 3.5 – ASN Parameters: BOLs have a 64-character restriction through Vendor Central and EDI.

• Clients should ensure that their ASNs are conforming to this character restriction.

• Addendum 5: FFP/SIOC Guidelines

• Clients risk chargebacks if they have product that has been flagged for SIOC which is out of compliance, please refer to this addendum for more information.

• Transportation-related content was transferred to the North American Vendor Transportation Manual.

• All addendums were renumbered due to the transportation material export from this manual.

• Vendor prep-related content was moved to the NA Vendor Prep and Receive Manual.
