Amazon Pickup Accuracy Chargeback for Collect Full Truckload Shipments

Per our notification in July, Amazon has relaunched a $500 Pickup Accuracy chargeback involving full truckload (TL) shipments and will start charging Vendors beginning Thursday, September 24.

The chargeback affects Collect Vendors only and is incurred if your freight is not ready for pickup when the carrier arrives on the confirmed date of your TL shipments. The carrier is GPS tracked by Amazon to confirm its arrival.

If you cannot make your scheduled pickup time, you must notify Amazon by 5:00 pm PST on the day prior to the scheduled pickup time to reschedule.

Here are some ways to avoid this hefty chargeback, per Amazon:

  • Closely monitor your Operational Performance Dashboard under Reports in Vendor Central.

  • Ensure that your facility operating hours are up to date in Vendor Central under Warehouse Settings to avoid scheduling shipments outside of your facility's operating hours.

  • Ensure that your freight is ready when the driver arrives at the scheduled time. Drivers must be loaded within 60 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.

If you receive a charge that is out of your control, such as a carrier delay or missed pick up, submit a case to Amazon straight away to avoid chargebacks.

Contact your Global Overview team if you need support submitting a case to Amazon or would like additional help navigating this chargeback
